In January, 2018, 7 machining centers, one CNC composite lathe and a 3D coordinate measuring machine were installed to the NSCA factory.
The machining centers include four simultaneous 5-axis, 2 indexing 5-axis and one 3-axis machines, with the capability of machining up to 1,000mm.
The CNC composite lathe can be used to make shafts of oil hydraulic components such as aircraft actuators. What makes this machine special is that it can also be used for skiving. Typically, or traditionally, gear-making requires multiple machining processes, starting from lathe and going to hobbing, shaving, etc. This machine can get all of these processes together in one place, resulting in the reduction of lead time and quality improvement.
The 3D measuring machine can also be used to measure parts up to 1,000mm. The room temperature is controlled at 20 ± 1℃.
